Steel fabricator Empire Industries posts $4.3M loss in 3d qtr.

Western Canadian steel fabricator Empire Industries Ltd. has posted a third-quarter net loss of Canadian $4.5 million ($4.3 million) in contrast to net income of C$290,000 in the same period last year as revenue slid 64.6 percent to C$20.3 million ($19.2 million) from C$57.4 million.
