U.S. Steel Corp. is the target of father-son tandem racial discrimination lawsuits for activities alleged to have occurred at its plant in Gary, Ind.
The Pittsburgh-based steelmaker declined to comment on the lawsuits Friday, citing company policy to not comment on matters before the court. Company attorneys have filed replies denying most of the claims.
A report in the northwest Indiana Times said the father and son are suing the Gary Works for incidents involving what were termed "white supremacist intimidation" at the plant.
