Crucible Industries kicks off seel output at Syracuse mill

Crucible Industries LLC has begun producing steel on the heels of purchasing a Syracuse, N.Y., specialty steel mill from bankrupt Crucible Materials Corp.

"We started both melt shops this week and are back in business and taking orders," James Beckman, Crucible Industries' president and former Crucible Materials' corporate vice president, said.
