Noble Resources' pursuit of its rogue aluminium traders, Philip Gross and Marcos Penin, through the UK and Swiss courts has been a moral rather than financial exercise. From the start, Noble has been acting with its heart rather than its head. A comment by Noble soon after the discovery of the two-year fraud in 2006 is telling.
