SeverCorr LLC is ordering less prompt industrial steel scrap like No. 1 bundles and No. 1 busheling and more shredded scrap, a Severstal North America Inc. spokesman said Tuesday.

Columbus, Miss.-based SeverCorr had been using a mix consisting mostly of the prime grades until it reached steady-state operations, the spokesman said.
